My Screencast: Google TV
I found a great slide show about the New Google TV and I thought I'd share it with the class because I think is going to end up being a great tool for people that use the internet and computers as much as we do. GOOGLE TV
Nice video. I thought it was intriguing, at first, but I can already do this stuff by hooking up my Laptop to the television. Of course, I doubt Hulu will work on Google TV, so the web features are not that great. We'll just have to see what Hulu does.
Your video has a nice flow to it and I liked how you used the given slide show to your advantage. It was also easy to understand. I'm kind of curious how Google TV will work out and how many people love it.
You presented the information well. It does not seem like something I would personally use though, since I use my computer for mostly everything, even watching tv.
The video presentation and the voice over were smooth. The content was very clear. Not sure if Google TV would fit into my life style and the internet is going to have to add bandwidth to make watch TV on it enjoyable. I get really frustrated watching video that has to pause to during loading.
The voice over was very well done. I must say, brilliant idea on using the slide show that Google made as I'm sure it saved you a lot of work. I'll research it a bit more before I try it out, but it definitely seems interesting for the user who has the right equipment.
I thought that your screencast was well scripted and very professional. It almost seemed as though I was hearing a product promotion from Google TV like Cnet would have. The images were vivid and I could really tell you knew the product and features of Google TV inside and out. It seems like you did a lot of preparation on the script, it was very helpful and efficient. There was a lot I learned about Google TV, especially the capabilities of the product like the "picture in picture" type features. One thing that I saw was that I saw a part of the calendar that was on your computer at the end of the screencast. Other than that, I thought it was very professionally done.
